Everyone Stands Beneath Their Own Dome of Heaven or Hell

These works are from the ongoing series Everyone Stands Beneath Their Own Dome of Heaven or Hell. Initially inspired by Anselm Kiefer's 1970 watercolor Everyone Stands Under His Own Dome of Heaven, these collages are made in a time of intense cognitive dissonance, a time (like all others) when the U.S. is waging war against vulnerable populations, the world is burning, and I often want to crawl under a rock (or under a protective dome) and stay there until all this is transformed into a better world.
